Ingredients:
CRUST:
1 c. flour
1/4 c. powdered sugar
1/2 c. cold butter, cubed in small pieces
FILLING:
1/2 c. seedless raspberry jam
4 ounces cream cheese, softened
2 T milk
1 c. vanilla or white chips, melted
GLAZE:
3/4 c. chocolate chips
2 T butter
In a bowl combine flour, powdered sugar, and cut in the butter with pastry cutter, or large fork, until mixture is crumbly. Press into ungreased 8 or 9" square pan. Bake at 375 degrees for 15-18 minutes. Let cool down a little bit then spread jam over warm crust in an even layer. Beat the cream cheese and milk until smooth. Add the white or vanilla chips; beat until smooth. Spread carefully over the jam layer. Cool completely, and refrigerate for at least one hour. For the glaze melt chocolate chips and butter in a heavy saucepan or microwave and stir until smooth. Spread over filling; refrigerate 10 minutes. Cut into bars and chill for another hour. Store in refrigerator.
I know this will take some time, but it is so worth it and if you are going to a party, trust me they will be impressed of your abilities!!
